It's about time for the 3rd annual Presidential Range Relay Race! (PRRR) It's a tough, 3X3 relay race across the Presidential Range of New Hampshire from Crawford Notch to Appalachia Trailhead. It's organized by Tufts. The organizer of the MITOC group is Matthew Gilbertson (firstname.lastname@example.org. A MITOC team won the race two years ago (read about it here), and we hope to reclaim our title this year. Email Matthew if you're interested.
The Intervale Keyholder trip is scheduled for Oct 17-19. If you want to be able to use the Intervale Cabin, join us for a fun weekend. On Saturday we'll do some work around the cabin and learn how to take care of it. On Sunday we'll go on some hiking and climbing trips. There might even be some skiing by then! More information will be sent to the email@example.com list soon.
We hope you all had an awesome summer! If you want to check out what some MITOC have been up to this summer, check out our trip gallery: http://mitoc.mit.edu/gallery/main.php Some of the awesome trips include climbing in Moab, mountaineering on Rainier, working for the Forest Service in the Sierra Nevada, whitewater rafting in New Hampshire, and bicycling from Alaska to Wyoming.
